![]() A man would do the same, I know I would if I was surrounded by women as awful as the men Erica is.Ībout the part about her sleeping with Toby, I'm conflicted about that. Aside from Vincent and Jonny, the other men around her are garbage. However, it makes sense from her perspective. The point of this game is to show that relationships are complicated and that people are flawed, but some relationships can be fixed and some people can improve. ![]() Vincent cheated, Jonny tells the girl he is with that he doesn't love her and wants to butt in on Katherine's relationship, Todd sleeps around with younger women, Archie is Archie, and Daniel ignores the women he loves until the end. The part about how Erica is judgmental about the man around her makes sense because, well, aside from Toby, Orlando, and some of the sheep most men around her are pretty awful in how they treat women. You're entitled to your own opinion, so I'll just put mine. ![]() Regardless, I know a lot of people like Erica’s character and I’m not here to judge, but I felt the need to get this off my chest because she’s easily my least favorite character in the game. Men), didn’t tell any of the gang even after three went to the doctor, and feels the need to chastise Vincent for being insensitive when she’s the one at fault for not telling him, nor doesn’t take into the account that he’s straight. Like, you never gave Vincent any hints, you always referred to him as a “she” (for the record, Rin identifies as a male but cross-dressed because of the societal exceptions for Lastly, the way she reacts so negatively to Vincent’s original reaction to Rin’s reveal. Yet it’s played up for laughs (it’s pretty funny, don’t get me wrong), and Erica isn’t seen getting any repercussions for her actions or criticized by anybody for her it either. Toby is evidently not gay throughout the entirety of the story, and it’s not transphobic to not be attracted to trans women because they used to have male properties. However, given the fact that Toby’s virginity is taken by her (or not, depending on how you look at it) and she never told him that she was trans is genuinely disgusting. I understand that Erica isn’t obligated to tell anyone that she’s trans, it’s her own business and that’s perfectly fine. It doesn’t set me right, especially given the fact with what she does to Toby in the True Law ending. So, let’s start off with the fact that she’s constantly being seen demeaning men around her yet is constantly yearning for one to sweep her off her feet, which is incredibly hypocritical and self-serving at best. I feel the need to preface the fact that I’m not transphobic in the slightest, because I understand why I would face scrutiny for a post like this.
